Jumper

The first of two jumpers Cynthia wears in the series
is similar to Molly's first jumper, yet the V-neck
does not reach down to the waistband like Molly's.
Instead, it stops between half to three-quarters
of the way down the bodice front. The jumper
seems to be closed by two buttons on the bodice;
the belt fastens in front with a shiny buckle.
Accompanying the jumper is a very feminine blouse
of semi-opaque material (cotton, linen, silk?)
with gigot sleeves--nothing was used for
stiffening this time!--and a large lace collar of
embroidered net, similar to many vintage/antique
collars I've seen. |
